SENIOR INFORMATION UPDATE
** May 23, 2013 **
Earlier this month we sent out an informational letter to all graduating seniors and their parents outlining the upcoming graduation and associated graduation activities. This letter is intended to update you on a change in schedule for GRADUATION PRACTICE and THE SENIOR TRIP which had originally been scheduled for Friday, June 7th.
GRADUATION PRACTICE: To facilitate the very fun-filled schedule that the seniors will be enjoying on their senior trip, we have moved GRADUATION PRACTICE to THURSDAY, JUNE 6th, from 3:30 pm to 5pm.
We have not moved SENIOR AWARDS NIGHT, which begins at 6pm at the high school on Thursday night.
FINAL CHECK OUT remains the same - Thursday, June 6th, from Noon to 2:45 pm for library, food services, lockers, fees and fines (office), athletic department (if applicable), and all periods not previously signed off from. LAST STOP will be checking in with Mrs. Wendlandt and turning in the completed FINAL CHECK OUT form. Seniors will not be allowed to participate in Commencement practice and Ceremonies if the Senior Check Out Form is not completed and returned to Kathy Wendlandt in the office prior to 3 pm on Thursday. RUNNING START STUDENTS this means you!
SENIOR TRIP: Seniors will be leaving from the high school FRONT PARKING LOT at 6:00 am SHARP, on Friday, June 7th. Students will need to bring with them the following items: swimsuit, jeans, light jacket, and tennis shoes. Additionally, sunscreen and a towel are highly recommended. Seniors will not be allowed to ride roller coasters and other rides at Silverwood Theme Park in a swimsuit, so they need a change of clothing (something warm)!. Please check the back of this letter for the FIELD TRIP PERMISSION SLIP which has additional important information and must be signed and returned to the high school office as soon as possible. Students will not be allowed to board the bus on Friday morning without a signed permission form!
If you have any questions, please contact our Senior Graduation Advisor, Mr. Bill Davies, here at the high school between 8 and 9:30 am.
